I have just purchased a new domain; D4NCE.com But have since decided I do not have the time to develop a site on there, so wish to sell it. It is registered with GoDaddy, does the domain have to be 60 days old before I can sell it on? (it will be a free push to another GoDaddy account, not a different registrar) Does anyone know the answer to this? I understand the 60 day rule applies if changing registrar's, but I'm not sure about GoDaddy to GoDaddy account change. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks
I didn't heard about this before. I think, you can sell the domain right away...no need to wait 60 days.
You can sell it right away, you just have to "PUSH" the domain to another user of the same registrar, as opposed to transferring the domain to a different registrar. A transfer needs a domain that is at least 60 days old.
I believe if that is not trade mark and it is not actually I think that you cann sell that with no problem, just let your buyer know that it is new domain name
It's hard to say, the '4' obviously brings the value down. But you should still manage to sell if for a little more than the reg fee IMHO.
well you could sell right away but you might have some problem if you it's related to any big brand name... like i did have before i did registered a domain name netscape-services,com. I have to give this domain to AOL and even they did'nt pay me for that. I think the domain those have old does more valuable.
