Hey guys I just started a blog (sorta like a journal) about my experience with forex (the foreign exchange market) and was wondering if using forex journey as sorta my tagline was a good idea?

My forex blog is located at http://justinsforex.com

it is good if it has a high searches and low competition. but i really do think it is the appropriate title for your blog.

It looks SEO friendly. But the title : A blog about my journey with forex. How about sharing how your journey can HELP people? That's a more catchy phrase I would think.

Just change the title according to the most searched keywords. You have to do some keyword reasearch for that. you Description is also pathetic: "This is a blog about my journey with forex.". You need to add some more descriptive description here and place some good keywords in it.

Yes, it really looks search engine friendly. Just add some internal linking in your blog. Use some anchor text using your targeted keywords.

i wouldn't say it is totally SEO friendly. one of the most important step in wordpress SEO is changing the permalink structure which is not setup on your site.

for example, if you click on the first article, the URL is this http://justinsforex.com/?p=54 which is not SEO friendly. you need to login to your admin panel and go under options/permalink and select custom permalink. then add the code below in the white box

    /%postname%
    Code (markup):
once done, save the update and then visit your site and see how the URL looks like.

If you are going to target "Forex | Forex Trading | Currency Trading" etc., you will get you head handed to you. If it is to create link for a Forex site, you need to focus more on the specific topic.

And if you are not targeting this, change to a different keyword phrase, "Forex" and all the long tails are highly competitive with age. You won't beat them.

    hey Justin,

nice blog... i think the template is pretty clean. As far as being SEO friendly, i think you'll be fine. It has the niche keywords scattered throughout but it isn't "spammy"
