I was wondering if i was using too many ads (3) on my site and that the amount of impressions lessened the amount per click. I notice that I get more hits with the 728 x 90 top banner versus the bottom and skyscraper.
Adding more AdSense ads will not automatically lower your CPC. However, there are a couple of things to be aware of: 1. The more ads you ad, the lower the average CPC will be. Overall, earnings will go up, even as CPC dips. 2. You can seriously screw yourself if your CSS is designed without taking AdSense into consideration. The AdSense ad ranking algorithm places the best paying ads in the first ad block -- as seen in your source code. If the first ad block in the source code just happens to be the ad which displays in your page footer, then your best paying ads will go into the display slot with the worst CTR. Don't be that guy.
the number of ads will definately have impact on your click rate in all the advertisers. as you may have noticed this feature in Bidvertiser, they clearly explain tht the more yur ads will , the lesser will be the the click rate as the reason behind this is that all the ads displayed depends on the bid made by the advertisers. so the less number of ads will definately attract the highest bidder.
so you suggest less ads and the $ will be higher ? but also the click radio will be higher what do you think ?
