Does .me rank in google?

I have never seen a .me in google search results. What's up with that? Do they even crawl .me domains?

You search with ".me domain" and you can find domain.me are list at first page

 

Just like other type of domain names, the .me domains can be crawled by search engines, although it is difficult for sites created with .me domains to gain a better ranking in search engine results.

 

I am told google is giving more importance to all types of domains, not just top level, and yes i have a major competitor with .me extension....

Google crawls close to everything on the web, just that pages with .me are often new sites and very weak content or have seriously strong competition.

 

Of course, the main reason of its unpopularity is people trust. People don't visit .me sites as often as .coms
