Hey, My names William Tha Great, here from Houston, Texas. Marketing is the talk of the town right now. I hear more and more that it is more important than the content you promote. A year ago I would never hear that anywhere, but today that isnt the case anymore. It's a little bit crazy to me. Do you even like marketing? Personally I like providing people with quality content the most. I love when my content does a lot of the promotion on its own. I don't dislike it, but one day I hope I can have people do that part of my business for me. What about you guys? God bless, William Veasley
Hey William, To be honest I love marketing. Developing creative campaigns and thinking out of the box is the best part, though I rarely have the opportunity. I can see that you must have a completely different viewpoint that me, maybe one day I will be one of those people you pay to do your marketing for you!
I enjoy it - sometimes it makes me nervous because I'm afraid of failing but the lessons I learn and progress I make are exciting to me!
I need to be happy with marketing, though sometimes it frustrate me because I need to get more sales.
There are good and bad days. But overall I must say I love marketing and advertising.. the thrill of always coming up with idea and facing challenges just too fun.
It's all good. The good and the bad days. On the bad days you always look back to what you've done wrong and how to improve the situation and on the good days you always try to improve and get better results. Personally I wouldn't be able to do something else. That's the way it is.
Marketing is pretty easy for me, so it doesn't make me pull my hair out - in fact, I'm always learning new marketing techniques.
I enjoy marketing for two reasons, a; it comes with the job and it's something that has to be done and b; the longterm results is what we market for. I don't believe marketing has too much priority over content however if you want traffic to your content then you need to market it
I'm relatively new to marketing but i would say so far its a definite mixture. Especially with so much information to try an digest and sort the gems of wisdom from the turds
I would much rather focus on providing quality content than worry about promotion, but it doesn't make me pull my hair out. I do like the challenge of it, checking PR, site hits, keyword tracking, and so forth. I would prefer if I could just do it a little less...
