Does Marketing eBooks on Clickbank really make money?

    Hi guys

There's so much hype about making big bucks selling eBooks on Clickbank, but is it really true? Has anyone had real success selling eBooks on Clickbank? I have written a bunch of eBooks that I want to market on Clickbank, but I don't want to waste my time for a few pennies every other month. Any real success stories anyone?

Any input or advice will be much appreciated.

I recently purchased Leather Craft Secrets and am marketing it on ClickBank.

The process seems pretty straightforward and the sales are coming in at a reasonable pace. :)

CB is one of the leading digital product marketplaces. So yes, if you have a good and unique book chances are you will benefit by listing it on CB. It also has thousands of affiliates who can promote your digital products.

However, you will need to do a wide variety of marketing to maximise your ebook income, not just list it on CB. Hope it helps, best wishes to you.

The eBook you are going to sell must be somewhat different from others in the market. You sell pitch or landing page should be attractive as well.

Are there any costs for listing something on Clickbank? If not, then there is no reason not to do it. I'm not very familiar with Clickbank so I'm not sure about the costs.

I believe it has a one time fee of about $50. If you are interested you should go check out the click bank sub forum under affiliate networks here on DP.

At first obviously it will take a little for your ebook to get good stats ie. people gravitating towards it to sell. So there is a little time but that's to be expected! Just depends what your ebook is and what catergory it falls into. I know someone who does very well in the video gaming business with his ebooks. Just depends on the niche. I don't think competition should bother you too much as IM is a huge huge market! Goodluck

Absolutely, if it offers something new and different, that really works or solves a problem for people, it will do well. I'm using Clickbank and promoting an ebook that's doing awesome for sales, even in this crap economy. http://makingmoneyeasy-ac.com/ (Not an affiliate link) The reviews when it was launched were great, so many affiliates all jumped on it at once. Once you have people out there promoting it, you're set. The key point is giving them a reason to want to promote it. We have to put time and trust into how good the product is to put all of the effort in for your ebook's promotion.

All day long you'll see rehashed books not doing anything for sales there, but it's definitely worth it for the seller if he's confidant that it's a quality product. CB is a huge online marketplace, so with Internet Marketing and the need to make money on the net taking off like it has, it can be pretty lucrative for both sellers and affs.

Best of luck with it OP!

Think of it this way, it only cost you a one time $50, and you can add products after products to sell! If you get just 3 people to advertise for you and they make 3 sales, chances are you will almost be in profit from the cost it takes for you to purchase this type of affiliate program. There are ebooks selling a lot every month as there will always be a need for people to sell books, so it is profitable, you just have to know how to do it. Put in the effort and the effort will be given back in full swing.

Simply listing an ebook via clickbank is not magically going to bring in the sales. You would first need to drive a lot of targeted traffic to your website and increase sales that way so that the "gravity" of your website can increase on clickbank.

Once you are in the top 10 gravity for your niche a lot of affiliates will pick up your product and market it for you .. that's when you see true results with clickbank .... I have a product i sell via clickbank ( ebook biz box ) so I know what it takes .... good thing about clickbank is that it has a built in affiliate program ... hope that helps.

There is a lot of money to be made by having an ebook on clickbank.

That's one of the reasons so many people have products and clickbank and so many new products come on clickbank marketplace everyday

Just ask yourself a question: "Would I pay money for this e-book if I were interested in this niche?" Is this information needed to succeed or is it just there to provide information that is also available everywhere else?" If you have a unique product that people need, and 'need' is the key word, then they will pay for it. You will also have to promote your own e-books, don't just rely on others doing it for you especially if you're just starting from zero.

The one-time setup fee seems to be much more worth it if you have multiple ebooks to sell, unless I'm misunderstanding and it's $50 per ebook.

You will hear a variety of answers to this question here. The honest truth is - if you're good at it you will make sales. Personally, I do not think it is easy to make money selling eBooks. Then again, I am no master ebook marketer.

I don't think just putting books on CB will work... there are other things also matters.. the review about your books, are you selling something unqiue which other don't have.. Does this is what others want to know? If all things goes positive then you can general hell of money.. otherwise.. may be a flop..

But yes by posting on CB, will give great exposure to your ebooks, because it is a site with repo, and buys do come on this site for purchases, or finding something interesting..

It's $50 for I think about 50 listings (you can have upto 50 digital products in one account). If you have to think twice about investing $50, owning a business is not for you.

But...it's not about listing it and then sitting idle. You have to do the usual marketing activities to generate traffic.
