Hi, everyone. Long tail keywords are popular these days in SEO, but I just don't know how to choose long tail keywords. Can someone give some suggestions? Thank you in advance.
Hi, vampirerocks123. Thanks for your answer, I will have a try and learn some knowledge of long tail keywords.
Use Google's keyword tool to find keywords that have sufficient traffic (exact match) and are profitable (high CPC). But Google's tool is not that good at finding longtail keywords, so enter the keywords that you've found into their regular searchengine and hit the space bar and it will give you suggestions for longer tail keywords based on what people have searched for. Kinda tedious, but sometimes you'll find longtail keywords that have traffic which is great because it contains a "nested" keyword as well.
Google autocomplete is an excellent tool for finding long tail keywords. You just start typing your head terms into the search box and pick up the suggestions. The good thing is these suggestions are based on real searches, so you're good to go with these terms. I use Rank Tracker by link assistant to quickly gather suggestions from search engine autocomplete boxes. As far as tools go Wordstream also seem to do a good job with the long tail. Another great way to find the long tail is look at your referral or analytics logs to see what long tail terms people are already using to find your site. Then you just need to improve your rankings for those.
Long tail keywords are used for specific pages of a web site. Using long tail keywords are effective though but it is more likely on conversion.
one word keyword not work, as long tail or use phrases .like ur site is abt laptop then u must specify ur keywords like used laptop, cheap laptop, new laptops,hp laptop & many more
