logo is not necessary but better to have logo since it represent your company i will suggest you just get a simple logo, it doesnt cost you much
I don't use a logo and I am doing quite well. Logo is very good for branding yourself though so people can remember it. McDonald's logo is a perfect example of branding. We all know the big M logo.

If you decide to get a logo, you can probably find someone on the marketplace here to do it for you. Just make sure you don't put a big logo on your website. Many people make the mistake to put a big logo on top of their website. But that takes very valuable space from your website. It is better to use that space to sell or at least keep your visitor reading, at least give him a reason to scroll down. If your logo is not so interesting that the person wants to scroll down and read the page then you lose a costumer right away.
