    Hi,

I was wondering if your web site's performance (load speed, uptime, latency) affects your SERPS?

    Noam

I've never heard of it doing so, although if the load time is that bad it will certainly effect the experience for your users.

In the days of dial-up there used to be a rule of no more than 8 seconds for a page to load (I think it was 8, it's been a while now!).

It absolutely can affect SERPs if your site is extremely slow or frequently down. If it takes too long for search engine spiders to get through your site, they will timeout. Hosting reliability is important for good SEO results.
