Does links in forum signatures have a good weight in building PR?

    It isn't very useful in terms of seo. Each link counts for very little. With enough posts, you might notice a slight effect. If the forum relates to your link theme, then the direct traffic can make it very worthwhile.

    Uuhmm, but in example, aren't these forums ones of the most popular and visited of the web? Shouldn't these count? I mean, do you think have more weight links from crappy sites with 1-2 PR or a handful of signature link coming from here?

    DP links are not worth much considering there are so many outbound links. Posting in forums related to your niche would be better.

    Agreed, terminator. I am not here for the link juice but it is nice to know it might help a squidge.

    They don't help much with pr since theres so many out bound links but I think they help with serps since you can have anchor text on them
