Hi, If i link from a page with high pr with link like this - (without href ) http://exampledomain.com will it bust my domain pagerank. I think this count as normal link with anchor text :http://exampledomain.com but i am not sure. Thanks
This is normal link : <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com">My Keyword</a> If i have instead it this :http://www.mywebsite.com Does it pass pr ?
Does http://www.mywebsite.com link to http://www.mywebsite.com? Is it <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com">http://www.mywebsite.com</a> or just the text http://www.mywebsite.com not linking to http://www.mywebsite.com?
no - as you said, its just text. A differnce, though, is in forums like here. Most do automatic link generation.
Only anchor links can pass PageRank. URLs in text form (with no "href" attribute) will not pass PR because they are not considered links.
I think he/she is asking if the link will pass PR whether or not it has anchor text instead of just the address. The answer is yes, no matter what the anchor text is it could still pass PR.
I agree with this as all links to a website are grouped by what other sites are saying about it. Which can only be found out from title, anchor text and partly from the main topic of the page.
