Yes they support HTML. VERY simple HTML tags tho. Nothing too advanced. I am a massive seller on kindle and upload books all the time in HTML as i have a software that exports too HTML.

    Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Regarding the Kindle issues... Maybe someone knows how to solve this problem...

I have a problem with my Kindle. Everything started when my Avast Antivirus deleted 'documents' folder, as if it consisteD malware. I deleted AVAST at all from my computer, after that 'documents' folder appeared at my computer, but another problem appeared.

My books are now ordered (however the selected mode is 'Most recent first') as they were listed before that problem with Avast.

After all, I decided to reset my Kindle to factory options, however only two folders (audible and music) are visible now. What should I do to make my Kindle work as it worked?

A properly formatted Kindle book is built via HTML. The MOBI file is composed of HTML and CSS files.

So to answer your question: Yes Kindle supports HTML.

MOBI starts out as HTML, so Kindle must support it at some level.
