I am working with Keyword Tracker for a long time and I love the tool, but since the last changes in Yahoo it indicates that I dropped out of Yahoo for almost all the keywords. I was shocked and went to Yahoo and checked manually and my site was still there. Is Yahoo not giving Keyword Tracker full access any more?
Seems to be working for me (with Yahoo). Try something generic like keyword "yahoo" for the domain "yahoo.com" and see if it tracks it properly.
Am having the same problems for a little more than a month now. Examples: hotels in banff > editout.com > tracker=n/a > Yahoo=53 banff hotels alberta > editout.com > tracker=198 > Yahoo=38 halifax hotels canada > editout.com > tracker=173 > Yahoo=29 hotels in halifax > editout.com > tracker=n/a > Yahoo=83 I have more than a 100 examples, but I guess you get the picture... I thought I'd give it some time, as there may be a delay between tracker and Yahoo, but as this is already the case for more than a month I guess it is something else. Also before the required tracker version update, the results for the tracker were the same as Yahoo. It seems this happened at the same time as the tracker version update. I am using the latest version and tried it on multiple domains. It is not that the Yahoo tracker is not working at all, it's more like there is a difference of ranking of more than a 100 or so. <edit> edited out real domains </edit>
Just found another example and if multiple persons can check this please, that would be great. Keyword: Hotels URL: www.hotels.com Yahoo tracker: 179 Yahoo serps: 1 Would like to know if I am the only one who sees these results or that everybody is seeing this.
Hmmm... looks like the Yahoo API is returning redirected URLs for some results (but not all). For example, a search for "hotels" result 1, 3, and 4 are redirects. The one for hotels.com is this: http://rdrw1.yahoo.com/click?u=http...Q6K6T3B&s=61&t=&m=438DEA89&x=01448277074983B1
