Hello, Is it possible a ranking to be affected because website is based on JSP ? If yes is there a way to improve it or rewrite the pages similar to mod-rewrite ? King Regards...
I just google JSP and found an explanation on the subject that sounds like you can have JSP and good SEO at the same time. Sounds like it's a matter of making sure the JSP creates valid HTML, with h1, h2 etc. tags, and text, and text-links. If the JSP creates java-aplets and things, reprogram because that stuff is going to be hard to crawl for google (if not impossible). The main thing about on-site SEO is making sure the search engine knows what your site is about. The way to do that is to have properly coded HTML or XHTML. Everything else is fluff from an SEO perspective. Hope that helps.
i think ranking is not related programming language . seo rules does not depents on the programming language like php, asp or jsp .
Correct, keyword ranking is not dependent of what language was used to code in the page. What search engines see is the client's HTML code output from ASP, PHP or JSP pages.
I agree with him. In addition I would like to say In SEO Content is the king. Only what matters is your unique content.
yea this is true that SEO is not depends on which language u r using.but it must be SEO friendly format and easily crawlable bye search engines. u might have seen that if u have .txt of other files uploaded on server that will also get the ranking.
