Does it worth to pay 2000 pound for guest post ?

A company told me they can write a guest post and publish it on Forbes for 2000 pound for my website, my questions:

1- as i need to increase my domain authority which is currently 5.0 dose it worth to pay the amount for the guest post on Forbes ?

2- is it better to pay for guest post on Forbes or spend this budget on lower domain authority sites ?

You can get a post on Forbes for a couple hundred dollars, that price is way too high.

I think its better to directly contact Forbes and make a deal.. 2000 pounds is way too high. I won't pay more than 500 for such a post.

2000 pounds for a link on Forbes. Something smells very very fishy here.

It would be better to buy 4/5 guest posts in that price from different authority sites rather than throwing out this huge amount at one place.

It went from 0 to 17 in one month.
I expect it to cross 25 in 5 days when the next update comes out.

It depends on what parameters to evaluate...for example "The New York Times"

Try $2500 my.... Thats the cheapest you will get from them. if you are paying a couple hundrad it will be on a weak sub domain

You're right because you're the only person that has contacts/editors at Forbes, my apologies. $2500 is the firm price.
What are you wanting a homepage link? haha. A link from a "weak" sub domain as you call it would be a better link than 95% of someone's links. So you over pay $2500 all you want for your sub domain links. A Forbes link is an Authority link no matter where it is and isn't an easy link to acquire.
