I've seen a lot of people selling dofollow sites list on different kinds of forums. Many of them are even selling comment posting service at very very very high price (like $0.5-2 per comment). I just wonder... does it really worth the money? Is getting a lot of dofollow links via comment posting very effective for improving a site's PR???
Hi! I suspect it is not. I also suspect the comments are not good quality..and real people can see that. No..I don't think this is worth a dime. Bryon
It helps a little. I guess for terms with very little competition it may work. However I think the key is having a diverse source of backlinks. If 90% all your backlinks is coming from blog comments then probably google and other search engines would get suspicious.
it is worth, do you tested your self? even nofollow links has some worth . for seo every link counts. But you have to spred the link building on other types of sites also.
I think it will depend on the niche that such site is having. I do agree that backlinks would contribute to the ranking of the site and it would mean more income opportunities. Dofollow links are one of the marketing strategies that maybe helpful to SEO. As a business owner, we will take every opportunity there is to make more income and in choosing what kind of strategy, it will depend on how it is worth to our business. Meaning we will not choose a strategy that costs more than the possible income we can get from it.
From the buyer point of view, its worth the money coz they don't have the time to post the comment their self. Some more, the posted comment is not 100% will get approved.
There may be some small benefit to getting the blog comments posted if you can manage to get your anchor text in there, but for the most part it's probably not worth the money unless you only pay for comment posts that actually show up on the site. Paying for blog commenting services from DP is risky; I have been scammed on this before by people who simply copied comments from other posters on the same page and attempted to post these duplicate comments with my link in the URL field. None of the comments passed through Akismet, so my links never showed up anywhere. Other blog commenting services will post quasi-original comments for you, but very few of the comments with desired anchor text links ever make it past both Akismet and the moderation queue.
