does it make any difference if my page is in front page of digg compared to a pages behind(if i didnt make it to the front)? Does the weighting get different?
If you're on the front page you will get more exposure to digg visitors and the chances of link baiting is high. And also bots will first visit your sites if your on the front page of Digg. May I know are you actually on first page on Digg? If yes let me know the URL of the Digg story you've submitted. Thanks!
I think no one can stay much longer on first page as it moves slowly on descending order as soon as recent topics start appearing there. The topics may turn sticky when a particular story gets good number of comments from digg members.
If we're talking about getting your link indexed by GOOG, then ya, it might make a difference how fast Gbot comes and finds that link on Digg. If we're talking about traffic, well, it's a "my server is down" kind of difference. You'll get a shite load of traffic being on the front page.
I agree with Voasi...Digg might give you lots traffic if your article is on first page and also if it is an article that is really on a popular topic or something that will turn visitors head or catch their attention for it's title alone...
