Keyword-rich domains are so-so important if you need to rank well. Analyze which keyword first are you picking on your website's niche and make that keyword as your domain name (if available). Right now I'm registering keyword-rich domains (especially product reviews) to get me more exposed in the search rankings. It really does perform well, and start working on it.

Also, if you really want to take advantage of Google love for keyword rich domain then consider and EXACT match domain.
