Does it help to add a blog to my site at www.learnguitarfast.com to build traffic or page rank? Or is it better to post blogs linking to the site on other sites? Or is it even better to post a blog on learnguitarfast.com and copy that blog that you posted and post it other blog sites?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi

Building incoming links from other website will increase pagerank and increase search engine rankings.

Building a blog on your website will help with content, the more content a website has the better the search engines see that site as. Having more content you are more likely to be found in search engines for very longtail keyword phrases.

I have look at your site and there are many things you are doing wrong.

Only have 3 keyword phrases aimed at each webpage you build.

Don't guess on keywords, use keywords from wordtracker or google's free keyword tool.

Use the keyword phrases in your sites header tags, title, description and keyword meta tags.

Also use the keywords in your text on your webpage.

    For example

the keyword phrase "learn guitar dvd" is searched for 8,100 times amonth in google, according to google.

So your meta title should be Learn Guitar DVD

Your meta keyword should be Learn guitar dvd

Your meta keywords should be learn guitar dvd.

Then on your webpage that is seen by the human eye at the top it says

Learn how to Play Guitar! Almost 3 Hours of Guitar Lessons on DVD for only $8.95!

    change it too

Learn Guitar DVD! Almost 3 Hours of Guitar Lessons on DVD for only $8.95!

Then use the keyword phrase again by the bottom the guitar it says

This DVD is jam-packed with several

    change it too

This learn guitar DVD is jam-packed with several

Then use the keyword phrase maybe once or twice more exactly like "learn guitar dvd"

Then if possible make one of your images (gifs) alt tag learn guitar dvd.

Then if possible link to another webpage of yours using an anchor link that uses the keyword phrase "learn guitar dvd" as the link.

Then build more incoming links using the words guitar and dvd it the links text as much as you possible can.

The above instructions sets your webpage up using just 1 keyword phrase, you can use 2 more if you wish.

    Hope this helps

    Mike

Mike has provided many good tips. I do suggest you add a blog to that website, but also regularly build more backlinks. It looks like your site is 1 page, which puts it at a major disadvantage. When you have more than one page, then the search engines see these related pages and it helps establish relevancy. They can count as internal links to one another using the anchor text of your choice. Plus these new pages could all potentially be keyword landing pages. So it is usually much easier to get traffic with a larger site. If you build up enough quality content you will get a lot of natural links too.
