Does it even Show Up when someone Cancels an Order? (NOT talking about returns)

I noticed that it does indeed show you (in your reports) when someone returns an item (it shows you the commission you lost too).

But does it even show you when someone cancels an order BEFORE it ships?

I am wondering, because I have some sales that still show up in my report from LAST MONTH (3-4 weeks ago). They show up in the "orders" report, but NOT in the "earnings" report.

They are marked as ordered, but not as shipped.

VERY annoying, since they are all big dollar amount orders for the most part (in fact, one of them is about $1,300, which would have been about a $75 commission).

It is well, WELL past the expected shipping time stated on the product page, so I know that isn't the issue.

This seems to happen now and then. I have a funny feeling it is because the person simply changed their mind, and canceled out the order.

What do you guys think? Does it even show up at all when someone cancels? Or does the item just stay stuck as "ordered" forever (but not shipped)?????

No it doesn't show up. There is no real way to tell properly, except there will be a difference in your "ordered" and "dispatched" reports like you have seen.

This is part of it - people change their minds and cancel. Especially on high priced items and items that take a while to ship.

Of course there could be a delay in shipping and the comission might suprise you.
