Does IP address change affect page rank in MSN?

    HI My server provider , recently change my IP, and my page listings have disappear from the serps, I also did a 301 .htaccess for my htpps pages I do not know if this could also be a problem.

    i dont think so unless you changed servers and the ip would be from a different country it could effect your geo location like youd rank higher on the search for msn.uk if you had a uk server ip and same for usa.. but in your case i dont see where it would matter.

    thanks,do you know what else could have affected my rankings in MSN? , and why my pages are being drop now from the index?

    I don't think it would unless the IP address is on the blacklist.

    Ip change never affects untill that IP is not blacklisted as suggested by Homebizseo !

    How long its been since your IP changed?
    May be you should wait a little more !

    Effects will be temporarily at best, everything should be back to normal within a couple of weeks. However if your new IP address is shared with some spammy websites, it might be a problem.

    thanks, i guess i'll wait, and see what happens. Right now is not shared and it is not blacklisted.
