Does Backlinks on hubpages works??? Does it help in increase the blog traffic. will it increase my ranking? i wrote some text link article pointing towrd my blog. see the article. http://hubpages.com/hub/hd-data-recovery and my blog http://hd-data-recovery.blogspot.com
Yes, it should work - but you need to submit to other directories and sites as well......such as squidoo, ezine articles, idea etc....... it is the combined effort of these that make your link stand out. Of course, your SEO should also be good. http://www.marketingaffiliater.com/images/how-it-works.jpg You can also get a few of them listed below http://www.marketingaffiliater.com/article-directories/article-directories.html Hope it works...
The basic formula of submitting to do-follow sites still works: (in no particular order) 1. Bookmark sites - Hubb, Squidoo, Digg, Reddit 2. Article submission - ezinearticles.com is only one needed 3. Press releases - use free servicesc - many online 4. Directory submission with keywords in anchor - thousands, but start with higher PR sites 5. Social Networking - Facebook, Myspace 6. Create your own blog(s) on your topic and make regular entries 7. Comment on other related blogs 8. Reciprial links with sites like your own still count
Hubpages may send you some direct traffic if your hubs are interesting. The link value is not too big I think (haven't seen any significant change to rankings after submitting hubs)
Link is a no-follow as well on the Hub site. You need links coming to your site for the desired anchor text from multiple sites for maximum SEO impact.
