I have been offered a nice link on a PR8 website.
The only problem is its http and i am not sure if it will pass any link juice
    or PR.
I am sure someone here can tell me if it will or not.
    The link is dofollow.

Provided that the page itself has PR, it will send PR to you regardless if it is https or not. The problem with this is that you might not get full benefit of the PR8 as Google may consider the https pages as a separate domain. Perhaps someone else knows for sure if that is true or not.

Just tested checking the PR of a site with http or with https....it returned the same PR. So you probably should be fine with this link.

I see many https sites their PR all same as its own domain.
So I do not think https PR are correct.
