hi i just wanted to ask what is the cheapest (yearly) hosting package you can find on the internet. Reason behind this random question is I just made a new hosing site and my cheapest yearly package is £15.00. Should i be more competitive?
The cheapest I've ever seen ( and currently running one of my information sites on it ) is $1.00/month ( $12/year ).
sounds interesting, I want to market the US as well as the uk. My site is mariohost(dot)com Does the site look the part to get clients. Iam not trying to advertise the site in any way or spam.
Hosting is a tough market. There is a lot of competition. Packages for less than $15 per year are very common. When you consider you can find a server for $59/month and throw 250+ accounts on it, the math works out to: Server Lease: $708 per year ($15 per month) Fully loaded server revenue: $2500 ($10 per account per year, times 250 customers) Net profit for server: $1792 per year It's why the market is so flooded with competition.
Hosting is very cheap these days... I mean, you can get pretty good deals for low as $4 - 6 per month, even with additional discounts for buying for a year or two... for a good services, prices can't go lower than that....
You've also got to put quality into the equation. What kind of people do you want hosting? People who might abuse it? ect.
You get what you pay for. If you're paying $1 a month, dont expect good uptime, or any support. Cheapest quality hosting for a small site will probably cost you at least $5 a month.
You site doesn't mention what kind of control panel you have. If it's cPanel that's a good selling point to mention
why go for paid hosting try this site www.0fees.net with a great cPanel.... rep me if u liked the site..thanks !!
Yes I have cpanel hosting on there i will take it into consideration, would anyone be willing to redesign my site in a html format and seo it for a good price.
