I don't see why not? Search or read through their TOS, it should be listed if it's not allowed. If it's high traffic, you might want to reconsider and go with a non-overselling host.
It shall be OK since they never write at their TOS. If you want to final confirm, you can just email to them, they normally respond very quick
ya they dont care, i put all kinda stuff on hostgator, and no problems. but if it was namecheap now they will ban easy for over use of rescources.
