For example I got high PR back links to my site does this high pr`s will affect my google SERP in 10 days?
Hi Yes you can get the effect in 10 days but you can't get high PR and high backlink in short time Thanks
Nope this is a myth. SERP and PR isn't related. I have encountered some DP members always misunderstood PR and SERP.
What I believe is...... If you have high PR backlink from quality site and if it is from the same industry then it can have better effects in your SERP.
Of courses not many site have high PR but not come under high SERPs but you have more back link from high PR site definitely you have to chance to come to the top soon.
Yes sure, I unders tand that PR and SERP is diffirent. Since a back link from site with high PR is better than a back link from low pr or none pr site, I am asking if that high pr back link will help my site to move up on the serp for 10 days only. let's say I got 5 PR7 back link today after 10 days does this 5 back links with PR 7 help my site to move up to the serp compare to my competator who have back link but lower PR?
Higher PR is well loved by spiders. So if you have backlinks with these site the chances that your site will be indexed is much higher than the site with backlinks with lower PR. SERP isn't directly related to PR as I've said. So don't waste your time on how to get higher PR, instead focus on your content for link baiting, on-page optimization, and gathering relevant backlinks. There are lot of things to do rather focusing on higher PR sites.
Not only the PR has sense. We should estimate sites in complex way look 1) how often these sites are updated in google. 2) how many back links it has 3) Alexa rank 4) are there any links from very popular sites and so on
Alexa rank isn't that accurate. Anyone can manipulate alexa rank by installing Alexa toolbar in your site and visit your site very often. Also ask your officemate to install Alexa Toolbar and visit your site as often as possible. It will surely improve your rankings in Alexa. The bottom line is don't trust Alexa rankings.
Well I guess it depends. If your site already has say a PR4 plus 100 inbound links I would say that 5 new links even if they are high PR isn't going to result in an amazing jump in SERPs you might find that you move up a few places but it all depends. However if you have no links or very few links currently and you get a few relevant high PR links then you might find there is a much more considerable effect on your site's rankings in the SERPs. I think what you will find a lot more effective in improving your SERP results is actual content changes, as in improving keyword density and getting the terms you want to rank well for in your title tag, meta tags, header tags and throughout your content as well as acquiring inbound links with specific anchor text. Those are probably your best bet rather than just getting a couple of general high PR links.
