Does height matters to be an actor in cinema?

What do you think about the height of actors ? Does it really matters in bollywood ?

 

Ya it really does matters. People like actors with good height and physique.

 

I really doubt it matters much. Most people are amazed when they hear that Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes are both only 5' 10". You would not know it seeing "White Men can't Jump", or "Blade". The big screen can make the shortest people look big!

Hell, Sylvester Stallone is even shorter than Woody and Wesley. Imagine that!

 

I don't think so.
Ameer Khan and Salaman Khan have not more height than Akshay Kumar or Hrithik Roshan,but they are super star of the bollywood.

Thats why height doesn't matter in bollywood.

 

I think it does mattter. Aamir and Salman came in early 90's but for me today you need to have a good height in cinema.

 

I don't think height matters as long as they have character!

 

I mean,does that really matter for an actor to prove himself anything more than acting which is worth talent of his/her.Greatest examples are SaLmAn KhAn,
AaMiR KhAn,
RaJpAl YaDav,
sHaHrUkH as well,
Michael J Fox,
Woody Alen,
Sylvester Stallone & many more. Their screen presence and acting have outspoken everything about their height.......

 

No height doesn't matters if he got talent in acting...Many superstars are of average height only.
But the actors with a good body structure maintaining good weight along with a good height really gives a good impression.

 

I do not think Shahid Kapoor has a good height. But he is doing quite well these days. So, height does not really matter in Bollywood.

 

I dont think height really matters, because many of the famous actors have been so short. But a good physique really matters for an actors, I think so.

 

I think height matters if you are a model, but as for acting it all really depends what role you are playing.

 

If you're trying to play the role of the "heart throb" then height would matter to an extent. Although Tom Cruise is short, and he was a heart throb for years.

 

I don't think it's crucial but being very short is not a good spot either. It always depends on whats your specialty, if you want to be Comedy actor then being very short can give you more chances to succeed.

A short highted man in cinema,, is actually a funny role, of a joker..(not getting a proper word for that rt now..)

Yes... Height matters a lot. The south Indian actors who are fluent in Hindi but short cannot flourish in Bollywood.

 

Imran hashmi is also a star actor in Bollywood with short height. so i dont think height does matter but talent does matter sure.

if anybody having not height he/she make only comedy actor.............

Yes height is important, but an actor with moderate height too can be successful with good talent

 

The taller you are, the better are your chances to be a hero. Remember Amitabh? If not, then don't loose your heart; you could fill in the role of a comedian who entertains us better
