Hi I am new to DP and SEO. Does having a anchor text to my url in my DP sinature improves my backlinks and link juice? Please clear my doubts. I feel we have a lot of pro in SEO here.. Katrina
Of course it does! Just do not think that by posting in a 1000 threads with the same signature will pass the same link juice as linking in a 1000 different web sites.
Signatures in forums are always a plus, but it's something that should be done over time. Read and reply/post about topics that you have interest in, otherwise you will just waste your time trying to build links from forums.

I can't remember how much I actually get my "juice" from DP, as I am not sure of how evident it is currently achieving in terms of back link. Algorithms could have changed...
I don't think there's much link juice gained from DP, partly because the number of threads and then the number of posts within the threads ensure that the forum gets larger and larger in size. The pages don't stay as central focus for long enough to achieve much PageRank. I do however agree that the number of backlinks significantly increases with signatures!
yes I am sure that it helps.. dp is one of the largest forum currently on the internet... and it is proven many times that it helps..
Surely it helps. Some threads in DP has PR. So you can enjoy some link juice if your thread get PR. Most important thing about DP signature is you can get decent traffic from the signature links.
