Hey guys. Too my ultimate luck, I found this domain yesterday and bought it ASAP. Now I have started developing a site around it and I'm wondering having a premium domain name, does that automatically increase my traffic rate? The domain is psdtalk.com

Also I am currently submitting my articles into twitter, also putting submitting my photoshop tutorials into tutorial directories. I need more suggestions as I think with this domain, I can make a good profit. Or am I just being dumb?

If you are meaning to say premium domains, as in dot com and dot net, then the answer is pretty simple. There is absolutely no difference between the domains, they will all rank exactly the same (I have proven this myself), however when it comes to site authority, you really do want a dot com. Nothing less. If you are building a brand, you should be using a dot com.

As far as making profit, this all comes from a well thought out monetization model, you dont simply want a flash in the pan with a concept. Think about getting an SEO method that is repeatable, think about where you are going to find your traffic, and think about how exactly you are going to monetize that site. Dont rush it, take your time, plan it out.

As far as telling whether or not you will make good money, mate... I have no idea... Only you know that, you are the one who devised your monetization plan, I think the question here is "are you ready to make money, and do you have the right plan'?

No sense in buying premium domains. If the premium domains have keywords in them then its best. As best is to do keywords research, find domains which have keywords which is mostly searched.

I haven't experienced any advantage of these premium domains. Even .cc or co.cc domains can get you good results.
