I have been using Kontera on my blogs along with Adsense for two months. My kontera earnings are only about 5% - 8% of what my Adsense earnings are. I haven't been able to determine yet if Kontera is causing a decrease in my Adsense earnings. Does anyone have any information about whether or not Kontera does in fact decrease Adsense earnings? Also, is there a better supplemental advertising program for Adsense besides Kontera?
Excellent question. I've just been experimenting with Kontera and wondering the same thing. I guess that, to a certain degree at least, the answer is yes because when a user clicks on a Kontera ContentLink ad, that means they're not clicking on an AdSense ad. On the other hand, the Kontera links are a totally different kind of ad, and perhaps users are clicking on them for an entirely different purpose. I've noticed a small dip in my earnings when I introduce Kontera ads to some pages and sections, but nothing that's depressed earnings too much or for too long. Interested to hear others' thoughts.

I thought so too..you are giving people more options to click than the only AdSense ads.. when readers don't know where to go to next, they tend to look at the AdSense ads and click it. If Kontera exists, then they may click on Kontera instead of Adsense.. What do you guys think?
i have not seen any adverse effects on my adsense when using Kontera.. Are any of you seeing verryyy slow load times on your Kontera links in the last few days, or is it just me?
I have done my testing and the indications are that having Kontera on my blogs with Adsense causes my revenue to drop. I get way less per click from Kontera, and for every click on a Kontera ad, that is one less click on an Adsense ad. Now I need to find a better compliment program. Any suggestions?
Probably you should try fewer kontera links and limit kontera to appear only on the post content. I'm about to release advanced kontera plugin soon
I do limit the number of Kontera links, and I also only had Kontera in Post content. But either way, nothing changes the fact that Kontera still pays way less per click than Adsense, and for every Kontera click, it means one less Adsense click. Do the math. By the way, what is your Kontera plug-in?
Kontera surely adds a few clicks. But the problem with it is that unless you cross the minimum earning barrier of $5, it just disappears into cyberspace. Poof ! you money is gone
I might give it a try, i got an email from the business manager at Kontera the other day saying he would love to set up a campaign on one of my sites. It will be interesting to see if it hinders or complements Adsense.

I sent you the link to my blog and never heard back from you. We also went through this a couple of months ago and I never heard anything from you then either. Are you really from Kontera? Kontera has not been of any assistance to me either.
No i found kontera works nicely along with adsense, doesn't affect the ctr and extra money is handy tho i do hope they improve their technology why so many http requests to load the kontera stuff onto page? it ads few seconds extra loading time to the pages which really bugs me and my users
