I have subdomains on both my MFA websites because I don't want to make an investment until I start turning profit. Will this affect my page rank?

If it has an established page rank and you move the main site over to the sub, then yes. Also, if you build up PR on the subdomain and plan to move the site over to a regular domain in the future, it will also affect your page rank.

subdomains are treated as totally different than the main site...
