My site, veethi.com has been online for almost a year now with decent traffic but I do not see the PageRank yet. Keeping the fingers crossed.
PR is not important these days but...i guess everyone from us wants to see their site with some PR, right? For some reason we would have more trust in sites with some PR ....it is in our heads and will be that way for a long time Prove me wrong...
Google Pr does exist and probably will be updated, we just do not know when. However in the mean time as suggested previously you should just carry on with other practices such as building links
Google PR is still important, but is not updated as frequently as it usd to be, that said Google wants you to focus on having unique content before worrying about PR
I really don't understand why a company as large, clever and innovative as Google doesn't understand a very simple fact. As long as the toolbar indicator is available, lots of people will (rightly or wrongly) consider it (a) of utmost importance, and (b) current enough and consistently updated enough to mean anything at all. If their real goal is to keep people from obsessing over it. the only solution is to get rid of it publicly. Unless, of course, keeping people obsessed over was their real intention all along...
of course it is, I still have 0 pr this year I wonder If I can get atleast 1 or 2 this year for my new site.
The pagerank indicator in the toolbar does update, or it used to in the distant past. Hardly ever happens now.
A lot of people are saying it exists, but no one has posted any place to get it. I was able to find this extension for Chrome that shows PageRank. I'm not sure where it pulls the data, though, if its from Google or some random person's server of scraped data. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hbdkkfheckcdppiaiabobmennhijkknn
