Do they take a while to add new websites into their index, I ask this because I just submitted a new blog I made on blogspot.com to addurl. I made sure all 9 of the keywords were in the article so it would show up everytime a person searched for them. The blog - http://downloadmediacopypro.blogspot.com/ How long should I wait until google index's it, if they do at all?
Could take a week, could take a few weeks. Google's procedures sometimes take longer for some sites than others.
No problem, if you think that's long, I recommend not receiving any penalties from google . I have a network of sites that was penalized.. it's been 3 months and my sites are still not back to their original rankings. I hear that takes about 6-8 months.
One quick tip: Set up a signature in the DP control panel. Place link to your website in the signature and your website will be indexed in a few days, maybe hours.
Now that is kickass, I still have to wait a few days until the site lets me use the Edit Signature option.
Maybe you can add a link to your website to your profile page -- have a look at the "edit option" link in the forum control panel. It may also speed up the indexing.
What you can also do is register for the webmaster tools in google and there you can add and verify your url. Websites that are added there get indexed a lot faster.
And webmaster tools will also tell you if there are any errors that are preventing your site from getting indexed
