Does google updating algorithm?

I have noticed some changes on google SERP on November 18th 2010. Few of my keywords have gone from top 5 to 18-20 positions . And few came up
I can see this negative impact on most of my competitor sites also.
Are you experiencing same thing?

 

I can see some move for my sites but only move of 1-2 possitions down.

 

I noticed some changes a few weeks ago but some of my sites are dancing between positions. I don't think that they updated anything major.

 

i also see that its effect a lot of on my websites.

 

There's definitely something going on - I've lost my first page position for some keywords and some of my pages have disappeared somewhere, but others are doing much better. Very strange!

 

Ups and downs are normal for google serps. If you have a 4+ downfall then you should worry a bit. The reason might be that other websites that are now on top of yours in the serps have been optimized lately to rank better.

 

A slight change, but nothing major. My site dropped by one rank only, but that's probably because I didn't continue to do backlinks on it.

 

Two of my websites lost their PR too .

 

I lost PR on one of my sites and my index position for some keywords have dropped too.

 

google updates sites with updated content , thats the truth , and this happens for all sites and all keywords ..... otherwise the web will become static .....
