Does google update PR partially now?

    It seems that google updates pr value partially. I have checked some websites these days and yesterday I saw two PR8 sites became PR5. I thought google had updated PR for all websites, but I found later that other sites' PR remained the same. So does google update PR partially and irregularly now?

    It's a global update from what I have seen. All my sites get updated at the same time.

    I think Google has done monthly minor updates for some time now. It's been especially noticeable for the past year or so because of the lack of major updates.

    None of my pages have changed, but that's nothing new...

    The pr can still be the same after update.
    By the way , don't pay too much attention on pr, it just wasting your time
