    HI

    does Google like the following meta and does it help us in indexing our website frequently ?

    <meta name="rating" content="General" />
    <meta name="allow-search" content="Yes" />

    <meta name="language" content="english" />
    <meta name="distribution" content="Global" />
    <meta name="robots" content="ALL" />
    <meta name="revisit-after" content="2 Days" />

    Many thanks

    No. It won't affect the visit intervals of the bots..

    jamie,

    there is an option in webmaster tools to set speed of indexing. Try to set it to faster. By default it's normal speed. However you won't get the faster option enabled so easily. It wasn't enabled for me for long but I could now change it to faster.

    none of the tags have any effect. the search engines don't need you to feed them this information....they can pick it up themselves...

    seo ranter is correct. None of those meta tags will have any effect on indexing at all. Almost all of them have been obsolete for many years.
