Hello I have read somewhere that Google gives advantages to sites that are made on WP engine... can it be true? Thoughts?
I would say no. A blog is no different than a regular website. The only advantage is that wordpress is designed with SEO in mind
it has too many factors to consider, but WP is designed with SEO in mind so it ranks a bit higher than normal HTML sites that are made from scratch by web masters which have no SEO in mind
Google loves blogs as they are frequently updated and they ping to Google. IMO, there's no special advantage [from Google] to WP when compared to other CMS like drupal, joomla.
i have two blogs that both were built a month ago, the wordpress one was indexed by google after 3 days, however, the blogspot one is still not found by google....
Well, google give advantage to that sites who are working well with in wight hat technique, In short google gives advantage to SEO not on websites if you are doing well then you are always closed to google just follow there instruction
i think the most imp idea behind the blog is that it is updated frequently and that why spiders come to it looking for fresh information and index then quickly .. and as said wordpress is designed with seo in mind..so it can do better
NO. There are no special platform in google. Maybe wordpress user claims that wordpress is special is because they promote their site well. Once you did site optimization and promotion, your site will be easily seen by google.
I don't think so, I guess it is because WP is the most widely used, thats why you see so many in the search engines. If there is one blog that Google prefers I guess it would be blogspot since it is theirs.
Thats because wordpress has ping feature every time you write a post ... it ping to pingomatic which in turn ping to all search engines informing about ur new post.
I would say no, Google doesn't give any special advantages to any website. As the Word press blogs are used by many peoples and they look very different and Excellent and designed with SEO. Always Google spider prefers for fresh information which can be found in word press blogs with white hat techniques.
No. google doesn't discriminate between sites made on different TLDs or sites on different engines. it's just a misconception
Google is a fair-for-all search engine.. How they will treat your sites/blogs in search results will be based on your SEO works
