Does Google really need to advertise adsense

    I see many advertisements for Google Adsense. But it seems like everyone who would have a website would probably already know who they are. Is there really a reason for them to advertise, it seems pointless to me for them to advertise. What do you think?

    It may seem like everyone knows about adsense, but the true figure is that a huge internet surfing (even webmaster) population does not yet know what adsense is.

    They need to also replace those that were banned to keep there system stable.

    If everyone was aware of Adsense as you might think, we all wouldn't be making so much money out of it, day by day ;)

    Why would they stop advertising it just because it is very popular with webmasters. What if new webmasters start out and had never heard of adsense?
    Plus they can afford to keep advertising it so that probably helps.
