I'm wondering if Google really ignores, or doesn't put much value in links from: Forums posts Blog Comments Syndicated articles Directories
What matters are 2 things: the links are SE, not redirects (or with no follow) The pages are being seen by Search Engines Google ignoring those links you menation is just speculation of some people, at least for now.
Every link is useful. And i think that every link give some weight to the web page .. And if that page has PR , better..
1. In my experience links from forums are certainly valued lower than links from websites. This applies to all pages, not dependant on PR. But they are certainly not worthless. 2. Most blog software put nofollow on links in comments, which is supposed to make SEs ignore them. 3. Haven't done much research in this, but it should be hard for a SE to determinate if an article is syndicated, so I think there can hardly be any devaluation here. 4. Directories rocks! The links from them are certainly "normal". Why do you think people are so obsessed with directories?
a Link from a no pr page with 5 outbound links is worth more than a page with pr 0 with 50 outbound links.(as long as both sites trust is equal)
