If you are using black hat technique then it might be possible to do more backlinks per day. But that would not be look good in google and might be penalized and if say your website ranks higher on google, it will go down.
Well I have been doing blog commenting for several months now and I am doing it very well for my own sites and customer if you as me it depends upon how you are getting link back you make get them fast but make sure the links you are getting are done in a proper way so that google check that is the relevent post or not!. Thanks and Regards
yes you do get penalised for building links too fast, so take it easy, steady at first then build up to lots (400 per week) after 6 months - this is what we have done with no penalties.
Google would be less likely to penalize a site that had natural backlinks resulting from an incredible piece of linkbait. After all, if the content is really that valuable, interesting, or unique Google wants to see it rank well. However, in the example I used to illustrate my point it was an experiment in which I did almost all the linkbuilding on my own artificially. Therefore, overtime Google noticed it was unnatural and the rankings fell and never fully recovered. Linkbaiting is an excellent, and safe white hat method but it is easier said then done. If you want to learn about a guy who is truly a master at linkbaiting check out Matthew Inman. In 2007 he built a site that got 90,000 unique visitors its first month, and 6 months later was averaging 700,000 uniques. His primary link building technique? Link baiting. His website had hundreds of thousands of links in a matter of days, and it was not penalized by Google. As you can see, it is the link building techniques and methods Google scrutinizes more then the rate of link building.
My friend owned a website and had a mass backlink add time and gained a lot of backlinks within a very short period of time and was penalized for it. I believe the domain is still PR0 where it should be around PR3/4. It depends on your luck really. I would space them out just to be on the safe side.
Do it slowly..get your website/blog up for a few days. Add some fresh contents everyday if you can. After a week, start building your backlinks. You can start by submitting contents on the first post to social bookmarkings. No harm done
if you are trying to get too many link back in a short span of time then you can easily get penalized by the Google, as Google take it as a spam work done by either by some software, automated tool. You should always try doing something new or different to get link back. You should plan your activities that you spend enough time on almost every link building activity, rather then focusing only on one single activity. I will not suggest you to do any sort of spamming as it may go in a wrong direction for your site.
If you launces your website recently then don't do link building very fastly. If you got 50 link in a day or week google smells it and take your website as a spammer. So dear do it gradually.
So, what is the ideal to make backlinks? article marketing, blog commenting or submitting to directories? I am a newbie about it...thanks.
Start with some good directories, and then move forward to article submission, press release submission, blog commenting, forum posting. If you sell products online then go for classified posting. And yes don't forget social bookmarking. If you can find all these dofollow site it will be more beneficial. You can also mail to webmaster's of relevant site for link exchange.
Hi, All these things do have their own importance, you should do all these things, but keep in mind that every thing needs to be done in a proper way and should not rush on the things as search engines may take it as a spam activity and restrict your site to be displayed....
well i will not suggest you for that...best will be that you do a competitor analysis, try to find out which all are the sites who are giving them quality link back, try to get a link from those sites. A link from the high PR site can be very helpful to get good PR.
also something to think about.. at times it makes more sense to build links very quickly.. very very quickly.. maybe save some sites you know you can drop links too and then post and ping them all at once... why.. what if you sell flowers... and valentines day is around the corner.. if you drop a few thousand links in a few weeks that might help you get a good boost right around the most important time of the year... just something to think about..
Yes, making so much backlinks for your website makes spam on google. Your website might be penalize by doing it frequently.
I believe that creating over 200 backlinks a week can get your site unlisted from Google. Don't bother using any software that submits it all at once either.
This is one of the main problems that I see with people building links day by day. Everyone wants a number to follow. That's just it. There is no magic number. Natural link building is sporadic. So, considering that this is the appearance you want to maintain, you should just build links on the fly. If you want to build 50 links one day, then 80 the next, or even 200, do it. Just don't get into a pattern. Pacing yourself is what causes the problem, so just stop thinking about it and do it already! If you read around, you'll find that many people recommend to "mix it up." Wise words of advice those short few are.
If the page already has some backlinks then it's OK but if not and you build links too fast it's likely you will be penalized.
