Ok.. I've tested this on my website using Wordpress as my CMS. I've created a page where it only has one sentence and 4 posts with 4 unique(copyscape passed) articles(400+ words) on each. I'm surprised that Google index the page 1st rather than those 4 posts with unique article on each. I don't know if Google examine and evaluate the article first before they index it. Anyone who have same experience?
In my case, it usually indexes the post first. I have seen this in many of my websites, and posts are indexed within seconds of posting and pages take few minutes.
Yes mate domainnamesalez is right cause I have same experience and not for only single domain but i try on many domain by normal to doing little different SEO activity on that. Google indexed my post first then page get indexed by Google.
I have installed the "All in One SEO" plugin which means there is an option to "noindex" category and tag pages. This plugin helps us to avoid duplicate text problems, and it also remove the category pages eventually. Note the exact tag used in "noindex, follow" - which means that Google can view and follow links from the pages
