Just installed adsense ads on my forum, but all Im getting is the public service ads. Does google pay CPM or CPC for those ads?
Also, I know thats because its not finding relevant content, anyone know how I can get the meta tags to work with IPB? I installed minevera SEO but it doesn't seem to be working at all.

PSAs pay nothing at all. They can be served when there is a problem on your page.

You may have some stopwords on your page.

This can be a cause of Public Service Ads, although they are much more liberal than they used to be. But it still is something you should check.

public service ads are for charity organizations or other public works. when google doesn't find any related ads to display on your site (or till your site gets indexed by google if you are a new publisher), they display PSA. Gulf Hurricane Relief is one of the most common PSA

Well Google doesnt pay for PSA ads. Other unpaid ads are:-

    Clicks are not paid, if
    1. Those are invalid clicks. Clicks like from publisher or repetitive clicks are rendered invalid by Google System.
    2. CPM ads. CPM ads are paid per impressions.

    Hi cormar,

Where did you read the bold #2? When I receive clicks on CPM (placement) ads, I'm paid for those clicks as well (apparently either on top of the CPM, or instead of it for that particular ad, I'm not sure which).

Well, CPM ads do pays but very less like 0.5$ per 1000 impressions etc. But, there are exceptions to this as well. Normally CPC ads pay much higher than CPM ads.

What about those cases, when somebody clicks on you ads 1000 times and you get banned?
