Does Google like .WS domain names?

For example, if I owned the domain BookStore.ws, would I have an SEO advantage like I would if I owned BookStore.com? Does anybody here have a .WS website that gets lots of traffic from Google?

In my experience Google doesn't look on .ws differently to other TDLs, a friend of mine uses it successfully for a site. In my opinion though the problem with .ws is not how it is treated by the search engines, but the public's lack of familiarity with it.

The only thing that I think is bad about .ws is the fact, that most people are going to think that if they click on it, they are going to a splash page for GDI. Well not most people, but anyone who knows anything about .ws GDI is the only company that offers this, and the main reason I have found that one has this is because they are an affiliate.

I do not think that the search engines give a crap less. They are focused on the content of the site, not the sub domain.

    Hope this helps.
