Does google index PDF on my site like it would an html page ?

Just wondering if I should leave my informational PDF files on my site OR convert the text and content in those to actual html pages instead. I have about 20 PDF files that I could convert to pages instead, which would add alot of content for my site and maybe look better in the eyes of Google as its better picked up by search engines??

Would it be more beneficial for SEO purposes to have content in an html page rather than a PDF?

Does anyone have experience with that for SEO ?

    Thanks

    Joe

What i know is google indexes also PDF documents but if you are using html pages you can use also keywords that can bring you much traffic.

If you want better traffic use HTML if you want satisfact visitors use PDF.

Google does index PDF files, but it might benefit you to convert them to HTML. This is because it will add more internal links to your site, and Google typically likes that.
