I know yahoo has a great way to check for backlinks using site explorer, and i know you can use link:www.yousite for google, but does anyone know if google has created anything close to yahoo site explorer for checking backlinks? and also google doesnt show all the backlinks, how come?
Google is secretive on what links it shows in the link:www.yoursite.com - possibly to protect their algorithm. You can check your own backlinks in the Google webmaster tools, but some people believe even that doesn't show all your links.
