Does Google have a finance API?

    I need to know if Google offers a finance API that i can use to download stock quotes .is this for free?Please help.

    I don't know if it does but you can go to www.programmableweb.com and take a look at their api list.

    You might be able to find something more suited to your needs.

    I don't remember google has such api.
    But you could write some scripts to parse the web page.

    I think Yahoo lets you download CSV's of stock history. Google might now too. What some programs do is query google or yahoo for the CSV file and then download it and parse.

    Thank this was of gr8t help.Do u know how to download financial news articles on a particular stock index.Does Yahoo offer any Api for finanacial news downloads?
