No if anything html is the way to go. Could have something to do with your flash but most likely its because you only got 4 incoming links. You NEED more incoming links.

Congrats on your wikipedia link though. :)

It will eventually get indexed but its quicker with more links. Sometimes it takes a day sometimes it takes weeks. There is no science behind it.

Agreed, Google eats up HTML like candy :)

Its all about the backlinks, and getting other sites to point the spider to you. Are you tracking to see if the spider has even showed up yet? Sometimes they will show for weeks before posting in the directory.

Not in my experience. My site is html, nothing fancy. Google indexed it quickly, DMOZ (to my surprise) did the same, and it ranks well in Google for a good number of keywords. Absolutely no bells and whistles, but good results from Google.

Static html pages are the preferred thing.

Try creating a sitemap and submit it to google. HTML or xml, both are good. I personally do HTML sitemaps.

As others suggest backlinks is definetely the key.

    Hi Gotit,

I agree with the input above. Most of my sites are just plain HTML, nothing fancy - and I've never had a problem getting indexed in Google.

    Hi Gotit,
HTML pages are good for getting ranking in google. So, don't confuse about it that html are good or not.

Actually, Google sees a ton of websites on the web has just html websites, they can't see the backend code, such as php, and/or if a site is powered by a database.

So to answer your question, no Google doesn't hate html websites.
