I thanks in advance for your views.

My site webhostingyes in my signature was in position 11 for the key word "USA Web hosting" but suddenly went to position 24 and very new sites with no traffic and only PR1 has taken my position, why google is doing this.

this is the site which has taken my position http://www.windycityusa.com you can see it has 0 alexa ranking and it has only PR1.
and aslo couple of other sites which are very new and have PR1 and they are above me.

There are some good sites with PR3 and they are above me i don't say why they are above me but why these new sites are above my position.

My site has PR4 and its well developed though, in Yahoo its in position 4 and in msn its position 10 for the keyword "usa web hosting"

Please can you help me out with this, i will really appreciate your kind views. thank you

You cannot necessarily rely on PageRank to determine the value of links. Some high PR pages may not transfer high value to the links coming from them. By definition, PageRank refers to value of a link in the absense of a search query. This would imply that it is not used to establish keyword term ranking.

"PageRank is a probability distribution used to represent the likelihood that a person randomly clicking on links will arrive at any particular page."
    see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank

Alexa rank can be misleading since not everyone uses it, it measures visits to your site from users who have installed the Alexa toolbar into their browser prior to visiting your site. Also, Alexa's traffic rankings are for top level domains only, not individual pages.

Those pages that are above you in the SE results may lose rank soon enough if they are using spam link building methods. Google will eventually find out and lower their rankings.

Basically, just keep building links the right way, and your pages will reflect the rankings they deserve. Try to keep a montly perspective rather than daily or weekly.
