Does Google give any higher preference when using their products?

I was wondering if Google gives any relevance to your site to the use their products. Adwords,Google +1, the list goes forever.

    I wouldn't be so sure.

There are a lot of pretty convincing blog points out there about how Google give more weight to +1's than Likes in the social aspect of their search algorithm.

Google has made it very clear that they never do that.

Google says a lot of stuff. Remember when they said that links on a page had the same value despite their position on a page?

Then it became blatantly obvious that only editorial links had huge weight and Google wrote a release about it on their webmaster blog.

Trust me, the results I have seem are pretty major. They definitely favour their own social network. It may not be just because it is theirs - it is probably because Facebook hide so much content from Google.

I think he or she means in terms of organic search. So if you use adwords do you get a boost in organic search. My answer is no.

In my experience in the past, yes. But right now it's not the same story. Things have changed.
