hello, can anyone tell for sure if Google follows the links typed in Google Talk other messengers like MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger or even Skype? Also does Google follow the links sent through emails like Gmail?
Google can only follow something if it can access it. The contents of a chat are not crawled by google bots because they don't exist in a published form on the web. Just like a google bot can't crawl your Documents folder on your hard drive, it's not going to crawl a chat (that's probably only stored in your temporary internet files folder on your computer). Also, bots won't crawl anything in your gmail because to see that page, a log in is required. It's the same thing as with Facebook - Google bots don't follow links from Facebook profiles because there is no possible way to see them - they can't "login" to Facebook, and they certainly can't log in to your Gmail. Google probably runs other scripts through gmail and gchat but not search bots. In other words, the answer to your question is nope, sorry.
Yes - that is one of the scripts they run through gmail, something to get targeted adwords to the content on the page. But a script is not a bot, and won't be indexing anything.
